• Add a Recaptcha.

If Honeypot is not powerful enough, the next step is to add a reCAPTCHA. It’s a system that helps establish that a user is human, not a robot.

It is a bit more intrusive for users especially when they are filling out a form, but it does offer a better level of protection against spambots.
